When I think of Spain, which I know much better than Latin America, I think about color and music. You have all of Latin America, except Brazil and Haiti, and of course Spain. I keep on repeating it because it’s not about talent, it’s not about classes or teachers or methods, it’s primarily about motivation and the amount of time you spend on the task and noticing–noticing what’s going on in the language. You can use nosotros instead of yo as the subject of the verb (we see each other…): Don’t say “adiós” in Spanish and say “te veo/nos vemos” So, don’t say adiós in Spanish exclusively and use these more trending options: So, literally, we say “until the sight”, or, freely, “see you”.
The preposition hasta means “until” or “till” and “ la vista is “the sight”. Who does not remember Arnold Schwarzenegger saying hasta la vista, baby? Perhaps, this expression is not the most popular in our time, but it’s still very used.
